The vacuum mattress provides fast, effective and comfortable immobilization by molding to the specific contours of the patient's body, reducing pressure point tenderness and rehabilitation time. The mattress provides thermal insulation decreasing the potential for hypothermia. The mattress is easy to use, and also X-ray and MRI compatible. A compact carrying case enables the mattress to be stored in an interior or exterior compartment. Durable manual pump evacuates mattress in less than 25 seconds. Six padded handles for easy lifting. The Deluxe EVAC-U-SPLINT System consists of the standard mattress and carry case; three EVAC-U-SPLINT extremity splints (small, medium, large) and carry case; and the large vacuum pump. This configuration can also be purchased with two vacuum pumps (the large vacuum pump and the compact vacuum pump). Meets European Πstandards. |
